The Perry Public strives to provide quality programs of widespread community interest. The programs are designed to inform and educate the public, explore various aspects of culture, and serve as a recreational outlet. Through them new people may be introduced to the Library, library services showcased, and the Library serve as a vehicle for community groups and agencies to reach the public.
Volunteers and co-sponsorship enable the Library to offer more and broader programming. A cosponsored program is one in which the Library provides the space and some publicity. If the library staff is involved in developing or presenting the program, it is a library sponsored program.
When seeking co-sponsorship, the library staff uses the following guidelines:
